Lucienne Gagné (née Cousineau)
1916-2022
On July 24, 2022, at the age of 106, Mrs. Lucienne Gagné (née Cousineau) passed away at the St-Georges hospital at the end of a life filled with love and generosity.
Lucienne will be fondly remembered by her daughters: Hélène, Anna and Lucie (Duncan Smith); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are her special son, Michel Brunet (Delphine) as well as Jane Barr and Madeleine Boyer, along wtih many other relatives and friends. Lucienne was predeceased by her parents Trefflé Cousineau and Ada Ricard, her husband, Albert, her daughter Alberte, her sons Jean and Denis, as well as her sons-in-law, Ross Campbell and Norman Johnston and her daughter-in-law, Margo.
Condolences may be offered to the family at the Virgo-Fidelis Residence, 1453 Route 277, Lac-Etchemin on Saturday, August 20, between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. The funeral Mass, broadcast live on Radio Amour, will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Eucharistic and Marian Center Spiri-Maria, 626 Route du Sanctuaire, Lac-Etchemin. Afterwards, the coffin will be taken to the Cemetery Mary Queen, 220 Rural Route 12, Lac-Etchemin, for the final blessing.
As an expression of sympathy, Mass offerings may be made in her memory.
